Google 昨晚就搜集 WIFI 个人信息道歉，并透露将于下周为 Google.com 提供类似于 Gmail 的加密服务。
Google 在其官方博客上发表了《WiFi data collection: An update》，其中提到：
Earlier this year, we encrypted Gmail for all our users, and next week we will start offering an encrypted version of Google Search. For other services users can check that pages are encrypted by looking to see whether the URL begins with 「https」, rather than just 「http」; browsers will generally show a lock icon when the connection is secure.
今年的早些时候，我们为所有用户加密了 Gmail，在下周我们将开始提供 Google 搜索的加密版本。对于其它服务，用户可以通过检查当前 URL 是否以「https」而非「http」开头来判断当前页面是否加密。浏览器通常也会为加密连接显示一个锁的图标。
使用 https 加密连接在技术上并不复杂，但是在服务器与浏览器间的握手认证需要更多资源，这意味着 Google 将要加大投资，或是减缓速度 
，所以不太可能默认开启加密连接。
从下周开始，您可以使用 https://google.com 无障碍的访问 Google 搜索。中国的互联网暂时将更加开放，你懂的。
